The main focus in Daintree Village is the Daintree River tours.
The more interesting river tours happen in the early part of the day and in the late part. They are also the more expensive because they carry less passengers (from 1 up to 12 instead of 50) and stay out for 2 hours and not 55 minutes.
The Daintree is world famous for seeing wildlife and it is those early and late tours that gained that reputation.

It because of the birdwatching infrastructure to be found in the village.
The dawn river trips are ideal for birdwatchers to see and perhaps photograph elusive species like Great-billed Heron, Little Kingfisher and Black Bittern (summer).
Birdwatching guides are on hand to safely guide birdwatchers around the different habitats close to the Daintree Village.
