What better way to experience the Daintree area than go on a tour with a local Daintree tour guide. All the local tours are listed here. There are tours that come up from Cairns and Port Douglas for the middle of the day but the way to see Daintree is to stay overnight, miss the crowds and experience tours that will take you on the Daintree River at daybreak or into the rainforest at night to see the unique Australian wildlife.
